Someone who claims that he/she loves another will prefer that person to all others, he will also prefer what they like, if it were otherwise then he would be acting and his love would not be sincere. The following signs will be apparent in those who truly love the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam,
First: The first sign of love for the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, is that he/she will follow his example, apply his prophetic way in words, deeds, obedience to his commands, avoidance of whatever he prohibited and adopt his manner in times of ease, hardship, joy and disappointment. Allah says, "Say (Prophet Muhammad, 'If you love Allah, follow me and Allah will love you." [Aal Imran : 31]
Second: The second sign is that he/she will set aside his own desires and appetite in preference to the law established and encouraged by the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam. Allah says, "Those before them who had made their dwelling in the abode (City of Medina), and because of their belief love those who have emigrated to them; they do not find any (envy) in their chests for what they have been given and prefer them above themselves, even though they themselves have a need." [al Hashr : 9]
Third: The third sign is that a person's anger of others is only for the sake of seeking the pleasure of Allah. Anas, Malik's son was told by the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, "My son, if you can refrain from holding a grudge in your heart from morning to evening, then do so." He then added, "My son, that is part of my prophetic way. Whosoever revives my way has loved me, and whosoever loves me is with me in the Garden." [Sunan Tirmidh, Kitab al-Ilm, Vol 4, Page 151]
If a person possesses this fine quality, then he/she has perfect love for Allah and His Messenger. If he is found to be slightly lacking in this quality then his love is imperfect, but not devoid of it. The proof of this is found in the saying of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, when a person faced punishment for imbibing. As the person was about to receive his punishment a man cursed the offender, whereupon the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, said, "Do not curse him. He loves Allah and His Messenger." [Sahih Bukhari, Kitab al-Hudood, Vol 3, Page 133]
Fourth: The fourth sign is that one mentions the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, in abundance – whosoever loves something, it is constantly upon his tongue. [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 32]
Fifth: The fifth sign is yearning to meet the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam. Every lover yearns to be with their beloved. When the tribe of Ash'arites approached Medina, they were heard chanting, "Tomorrow, we will be with those we love, Muhammad and his Companions!" [Dalail an-Nabuwwah lil Bayhaqi, Vol 5, Page 351]
Sixth: The sixth sign is that as well as the remembrance of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, someone who loves him will be found praising and respecting him whenever he is mentioned and display humility, and lower himself when he hears his name. We are told by Isaac At -Tujibi that after the passing of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, whenever the Companions heard his name they became humble, their skin trembled and they wept. As for the other followers of the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, some experienced the same out of love and yearning for him, whereas others did so out of respect and esteem. [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 33]
Seventh: The seventh sign is the love expressed for the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, and the People of his House, and his Companions – the Emigrants (Muhajirun) and the Helpers (Ansar) alike for his sake. A person with this sign will be found hostile to those who hate them.
Of Al Hasan and Al Hussain, may Allah be pleased with them, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, said, "O Allah, I love them, so please love them."
Sahih Bukhari, Kitab al Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 23
Sahih Muslim, Kitab al Fadhail, Vol 4, Page 1883
Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab al Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 327
Al-Hasan said that the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, also said, "O Allah, I love him, so love the one who loves him." Of his two grandsons, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, also said, "Whosoever loves them, loves me." Then he said. Whosoever loves me, loves Allah. Whosoever hates them hates me and whosoever hates me hates Allah."
Muqaddam Sunan Ibn Maja, Vol 1, Page 51
Majma' az-Zawaid, Vol 9, Page 180
The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, said, "Do not make my companions targets after me! Whosoever loves them loves them it is because they love me, and whosoever hates them it is through their hatred of me. Whosoever harms them, harms me. Whosoever does something to hurt me does it is as if it is hurtful to Allah. Whosoever does something that appears to be hurtful to Allah is about to be seized."
Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab al Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 358
Musnad Ahmad, Vol 5, Page 54
Of his family, the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, said referring to Hadrat Fatima, may Allah be pleased with her, "She is part of me, whosoever hates her hates me."
Sahih al Bukhari, Kitab al Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 24
Sahih Muslim, Kitab Fadhail as-Sahaba, Vol 4, Page 1903
The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, told Hadrat Ayesha to love Osama, Zaid's son because he loves him. [Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 342]
The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, spoke of the Helpers (Ansar) saying, "The sign of certain faith is love for the Ansar, whereas the sign of hypocrisy is hatred for them."
Sahih al Bukhari, Kitab al Manaqib, Vol 5, Page 27
Sahih al Bukhari, Kitab al Iman, Vol 1, Page 9
Sahih Muslim, Kitab al Iman, Vol, Page 85
Omar's son tells us that the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, said, "Whosoever loves the Arabs loves them because he loves me. Whereas whosoever hates them hates them because of their hatred of me." [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 34]
The fact is when someone loves another, he loves everything that person loves, and this was indeed the case with the Companions. When Anas saw the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, eating a piece of pumpkin, he said, "From that day I loved pumpkins." [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 34]
Al-Hasan, the grandson of the Prophet, may the peace of Allah be upon them, went with Jafar to Salma and asked her to prepare some food the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, used to eat. [Shamail Tirmidhi, Page 155]
Omar once saw the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, wearing a pair of yellow coloured sandals, so he too wore a pair of the same colour.
Sahih al Bukhari, Kitab al-Libas, Vol 7, Page 132
Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Hajj, Vol 2, Page 844
Eighth: The eighth sign is hatred of anyone who hates Allah and His Messenger, praise and peace be upon him. Such people are those who show hostility towards to Allah and His Messenger. Believers having this sign avoid all who oppose the prophetic way, and are in opposition to those who introduce innovations into the prophetic way (that are against the spirit of Islam) and find the law he established burdensome. Allah says, "You shall find no nation believing in Allah and the Last Day loving anyone that opposes Allah and His Messenger." [al Mujadilah : 22]
Ninth: The ninth sign is found in those who love the Qur'an which the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, brought, by which the Prophet and they were guided. When asked about the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, Hadrat Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her, said, "His character was that of the Qur'an." Part of the love of the Qur'an is listening to its recitation, acting according to it, understanding it, keeping within its bounds and the love of Prophet Muhammad's way. [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 35]
Sahl, Abdullah's son spoke of this sign saying, "The sign of loving Allah is love of the Qur'an. The sign of loving the Qur'an is the love of the Prophet. The sign of loving the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, is love of his prophetic way. The sign of loving the prophetic way is the love of the Hereafter. The sign of loving the Hereafter is hatred for this world. The sign of hatred for this world is that you do not amass any of it except for provisions and what you need to arrive safely with in the Hereafter." [Al Shifa bi Ta'reefi Huqooq al-Mustafa, Vol 2, Page 35]
Masood's son said, "No one needs to ask himself about anything other than the Qur'an, if he loves the Qur'an then he loves Allah and His Messenger" praise and peace be upon him. [Bayhaqi fil Aadaab, Page 522]
Tenth: The tenth sign of love for the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, is to have mercy on his nation by advising them well, striving for the betterment of their interest and removing anything that is harmful from them in the same way that the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, was "gentle and merciful to the believers." [al-Taubah : 128]
Eleventh: The eleventh sign of perfect love is found in whosoever restricts himself through self-denial, preferring poverty to the attractions of the world. The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, told Abu Sa'id Al Khudri, "Poverty for those of you who love me flows quicker than a flood from a mountain's peak to its base." [Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab az-Zuhd, Vol 4, Page 7]
A man came to the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I love you." The Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam, warned, "Be careful of what you say." The man repeat his love for him thrice, whereupon the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam told him, "If you love me prepare yourself quickly for poverty." [Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab az-Zuhd, Vol 4, Page 7]
O Dear Almighty ALLAH! We ask you of filling our Hearts with the true and immense Love of your Beloved Habeeb Kareem Alaihi afDalus Salati wat Tasleem. Keep us alive on His Sunnah and bless us with the death on Iman in the Beloved City of your Beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam and make our Cessation with Ahl al-Baqee’ ash-Sharif… Aameen!!

The Seal of Divine Wisdom in the Word of Adam
When Allah - glory be to Him! - willed that the source of His most Beautiful Names - which are beyond enumeration - be seen (or you can equally say that He willed His source to be seen), He willed that they be seen in a microcosmic being which contained the entire matter, (1) endowed with existence, and through which His secret was manifested to Him. For how a thing sees itself through itself is not the same as how it sees itself in something else which acts as a mirror for it. So He manifests Himself to Himself in a form which is provided by the place in which He is seen. He would not appear thus without the existence of this place and His manifestation (tajalli) to Himself in it.
Allah brought the entire universe into existence through the existence of a form fashioned without a spirit (ruh), like an unpolished mirror. Part of the divine decree is that He does not fashion a locus without it receiving a divine spirit, which is described as being "blown" (2) into it. This is nothing other than the result of the predisposition of that fashioned form to receive the overflowing perpetual tajalli which has never ceased and which will never cease. Then we must speak of the container (qabil). The container comes from nothing other than His most sacredly pure Overflowing. So the whole affair has its beginning from Him, and its end is to Him, and "the whole affair will be returned to Him" (11:123) as it began from Him. Thus the command decreed the polishing of the mirror of the universe. Adam was the very polishing of that mirror and the spirit of that form.

Recently a questioner asked the following Question from Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri. We are giving below, the question and Shaikh's answer in the following. It clears many peoples doubts.
QUESTION
Sahih al-bukhari hadith.
Jabir bin samura , I heard the Prophet (s,w) saying there will be twelve muslimrulers(caliphs) (who will rule all the Islamic world) He then said a sentencewhich I did not hear, my father said all of them (those rulers) will be fromquraish,
Ref. sahih al- bukhari (English) hadith - 9:329 kitabul ahkam ,Sahih muslim.(English) vol-3, hadith-4483.
Another hadith of our Prophet (saws) said that after me there will be twelve caliphs and all of them will be from the bani hashim. Ref: ya-nabiyul muyaddat.
And this twelve caliphs all of them will be from the Quraish and bani Hashim so we" d like to know the name of the twelve caliphs, please explain each name to me according to the sahih hadith,
Please explain according to the holy Qur'an & Sahih hadith, Finally , I must say that I "d be grateful to you if you answer me.
SHAIKH'S ANSWER
About 12 rulers and Caliphs of Muslims, we know the first 4 rightful Caliphs of Islam who were also rulers. The fifth is Imam Hasan (ru) who was also Caliph and ruled the Islamic state for a very short time.
In addition, the Muslim Ummah is united that Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz (r) of Umayyads is also a honest Caliph and ruler of Muslim Ummah.
We also know that Imam Mahdi (r) will be an Islamic Caliph and ruler towards the end.
This way, we know for sure about 7 Islamic Caliphs and rulers. May be the remaining 5 will come in between them. Allahu Aa'lamu.

Recently a questioner asked the following Question from Shaikh. Mir Asedullah Quadri. We are giving below, the question and Shaikh's answers in the following. It clears many peoples doubts.
QUESTION
The holy prophet (saws), in his last farewell pilgrimage and during his historical speech."O you people, I leave amongst you two things which, if you follow, you will never go astry after me, and they are the book of Allah, and my...............? My question is what is thesecond thing?
1. Some mufti say, sunnah.
2. Some mufti say, hadith.
3. Some mufti say, ahlulbayt.
4. Some mufti say, only quran.
From the above questions which is the right answer please explain , and you will also give me, authentic scholar books , and sahih Bukhari, sahih Muslim, Tirmiji, Ibne Maja, Abu Dawood, Nasai, Meskat, Musnade Hambal, Mustadrak Hakim, KanjulUmmal, vol no , page no .hadith no, and published by.
ANSWER OF THE SHAIKH
It is in Hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik (ru) The Prophet (saws) said anyone who said ' La Ilaha Illallah' will be saved from Hell Fire. (Bukhari - Book 3 - No. 130)
What is the meaning of the above Hadith?
It means any one who is Muslim and has Sahih Iman in his heart, will be saved from Hell fire. And to be a Muslim, we need to testify " La Ilaha Illallah - Muhammadur Rasulullah".
When a person who says "La IlahaIllallah", it includes that he has to say Muhammdur Rasulullah (saws). Both these conditions make him Muslim to save him from Hell Fire.
It is in Quran - Ihdinas Siratal Mustaqeem.( Fatiha ). Meaning - O'Allah, Lead us to the rightpath.
What is the right path?
The Quran also explains this 'Siratal Lazeena an'amta Alaihim' ( Fatiha ).
Meaning - The path of those who have been awarded by your bestowal (ne'ma).
Who are these rightly guided bestowed people?
It is, Prophet (saws). After him, his Ahle Baith. After them, Sahabah, Imams, and Awliya Allah.
What is established from the above explanation?
It is established that Quran, the word of God, cannot be separated from Hadith. Meaning, we cannot understand Quran, unless we understand Hadith.
Similarly, we cannot understand Ahadith fully, unless we understand the practical life and interpretations of Quran by Ahle Baith-e-Rasulullah, his close companions, like Khulfa-e-Rashideen, etc.
Similarly, we cannot understand the rules of Sharia independently by reading Quran and Ahadith, we need to read about the life and works of Imams of Fiqh,Abu Hanifa, Shafi'i, Malik and Hanbal (rua) and follow their instructions. Islam is a practical religion. Prophet Mohammad's (saws) Seerah is the Practical version of Quran.
Now we will come back to your question of last sermon of Prophet Mohammad (saws).
(1) The Prophet (saws) said 'I am leaving behind Quran and my Sunnah /Ahadith ( Bukhari 1623, 1626, 6361; Sahih Muslim 98; Tirmidhi 1628, 2046, 2085;; Ahmad 19774; Muwatta 46-3).
(2) The Prophet (saws) said ' I am leaving behind Quran and Ahle Baith. (Muslim 031- 5920 & 5923; Tirmidhi 031-3786 & 3788; Ahmad 4/366; Darimi 23/1 No. 3319)
(3) The Prophet (saws) said 'I am leaving behind Quran ( Muslim 15/19 no.1218 & 7/2803; Ibn Majah 25/84; Abu Dawud 11/56)
As we have explained above, to be on the right path of Islam, we should not separate Quran, Hadith and Ahle Baith from each other. We need to learn to respect Prophet Mohammad (saws), and Ahle-Baith-e-Rasulullah and walk on their foot steps.
Thus, all Ahadith are correct.
This is the reason, it is important that you cannot be a Muslim or walk on correct path of Islam by independent reading of Quran and Hadith books.
You need a Shaikh of Ihsan who can explain issues in their right perspective.

INTRODUCTION
Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O you who believe! Send blessings on him, and salute him (send salutations on him) with the utmost respect (Qur’an 33:56)
All Praise unto Almighty Allah Who is Lord of All the worlds, Most Merciful, Most Affectionate. Lot of Durood and Salaams upon Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa.
When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to
Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided”. (Al-Qur’an 2:186)
Dua is essentially an expression of submission of faith to God and one's neediness. Type I: Du'a al-mas'alah, or the 'du'a of asking.' This type of du'a is when one asks for the fulfillment of a need, or that some harm be removed from him/her. An example would be when a person asks, "O God! Grant me good in this world, and good in the next life!" Type II: Du'a al-'ibadah, or the 'du'a of worship.' This type of du'a represents a very broad concept. In Islam, every single act of worship includes this type of du'a. Examples would include when we Muslim prays salat or gives zakaat or fasts.
Muhammad is reported to have said, "Make du'a to God in a state that you are certain that your du'a will be responded to, and know that God does not respond to a du'a that originates from a negligent, inattentive heart"According to this hadith, a Muslim is instructed to make du'a with a mindful heart. A Muslim should be aware of what he is saying and should believe in his or her heart that their du'a will be responded to by God.
The Imam Ahmad Raza Islamic Mission has added “Al-Wazaiftul Karima” of Alahazrat Imam-E-Ahle-Sunnat, Muja did-E-Din-E-Millat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (Radi Allahu anhu) with this book. This book is the great research of Alahazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (Radi Allahu anhu).
May Almighty Allah keep on straight path and give the benefit of our Duwa’s and Salah (Prayers).
Aameen!

DUA BEFORE SLEEPING
The Beloved Prophet said, “That person who reads this Dua thrice whilst on his bed, and then goes to sleep, Almighty Al’laah will forgive
all his sins even if they be equal to leaves on the trees or the sand on the dunes. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.175)
Astaghfirul laahal lazee Laa ilaaha il’laa Huwal Hay’yul Qay’yoomu Wa Atoobu ilaih
I seek forgiveness from Allah besides whom there is none worthy of worship, The Ever Living, The Sustainer, and we turn to you in repentance.
The Holy Prophet r used to recite this Dua before going to rest (sleep).
Al’laah hum’ma Bi Ismika Amootu Wa Ahyaa
“O Al’laah! In Your Name I die and live”
Important note: It must be noted that the sleep of a Prophet is different from our sleep. When we fall asleep, we are not aware of our condition and totally inactive, but when a Prophet sleeps, he is still aware of everything around him and it is a time when special revelation descends upon him.
DUA WHEN WAKING FROM SLEEP
When the Holy Prophet r would awaken from his rest (sleep), he would read:
اَ لْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْ اَحْىَ نَفْسِىْ بَعْدَ مَااَمَاتَهَا وَ اِلَيْهِ النُّشُوْرُ
Alhumdu Lil Laahil Lazee Ahyaa Nafsee Ba’da Maa Amaataha Wa ilaihin Nushoor
All praise is due to Al’laah, who has granted us life after taking it away from us and towards him is our resurrection (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.178)
DUA BEFORE EATING
Always read this before eating:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismil laahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Al’laah’s Name we begin with, The Compassionate, Most Merciful
If you have forgotten to read it and remember halfway through your meal, then say,
Bismil laahi Aw’walahu Wa Aakhirahu
“Al’laah’s Name we begin and end with”
DUA AFTER EATING
Hazrat Abu Umaama t says that the Beloved Prophet r would read the following dua when the eating mat would be lifted up after eating:
اَ لْحَمْدُ للهِ حَمْدًا آَثِيْرًا طَيِّبًا مُّبَارَآًا فِيْهِ غَيْرَ مُوَدَّعٍ وَّ لاَ مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَ بَّنَا
Alhumdu lil laahi Humdan Katheeran Tay’yibam Mubaarakan Feehi Ghaira Muwad’da’iw Wa Laa Mustaghnan Anhu Rab’bana
Praise be to Al’laah with an abundantly beautiful, sanctified Praise, a never ending praise, which we will never bid farewell to, and a most important praise. He (Al’laah) is our Creator. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.183)
Hazrat Abu Sa’eed Khudri t reported that the Holy Prophet r would read the following dua after he had completed his meal:
اَ لْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْ اَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَاناَ وَجَعَلَناَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ ط
Alhumdu lil laahil Lazee At’amana Wa Saqaana Wa Ja’alana Minal Muslimeen
All Praise is due to Al’laah, who has blessed us with food and drink and made us from amongst the Believers (Muslims) (Abu Dawood Pg.573)
WHEN DRINKING MILK
When drinking milk, you should read the following Dua:
اَ للَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْهِ وَزِدْناَ مِنْهُ
Al’laah Hum’ma Baarik Lana Feehi Wa Zidna Minhu
O Al’laah grant us blessing in it and grant us more from it. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.183)
DUA ON ENTERING THE TOILET
When the Prophet r would intend to enter the toilet, he would say,
Al’laah hum’ma In’ni A’oozu bika minal Khubthi wal Khabaa’ith
“O Allaah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers” (Sahih Bukhari Vol.2 Pg.936)
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU SNEEZE
Hazrat Abu Hurairah t reports that the Holy Prophet r said, “When anyone from amongst you sneezes, then he should say,
Alhumdu lil laah (All Praise is due to Al’laah)
And his friend or brother who hears him should say,
Yarhamukal’laah
May Almighty Al’laah have mercy upon you.
Then in response to this, the one who sneezed should say,
Yahdee kumul’laahu wa Yuslihoo Baalakum
Al’laah grant you guidance and remedy your condition.
This Hadith has been narrated by Imam Bukhari (Ref: Mishkaat Shareef Pg.405)
DUA IN DISTRESS OR DISCOMFORT
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas t reports that whenever the Holy Prophet r was in any discomfort or if he felt any unhappiness, he would read the following Dua continuously:
لآَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ الْحَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ لآَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ لآَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتَ وَاْلاَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ ط
Laa ilaaha il’lal laahul Haleemul Hakeemu – Laa ilaaha il’lal laahu Rab’bul Arshil Azeem – Laa ilaaha il’lal laahu Rab’bus Samawaati wal Ardi wa Rab’bul Arshil Kareem [Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.181)
There is none worthy of worship except Al’laah, The Fore-bearing, The All Wise. There is none worthy of worship except Al’laah, The Lord of the Exalted Throne. There is none worthy of worship except Al’laah, The Lord of the Skies and The Lord of the Earth and the Lord of the distinguished Throne.
DUA WHEN SEEING SOMEONE WHO IS ENDURING ANY HARDSHIP
The Holy Prophet r said, “If anyone sees a person who is caught up in any calamity (such as illness or some hardship etc.) then he should read the following dua and he shall be protected for the rest of his life from such an illness or calamity:
اَ لْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْ عَافَانِىْ مِمَّاابْتَلاَكَ بِهِ وَفَضَّلَنِىْ عَلىَ آَثِيْرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيْلاً
Alhumdu lil laahil Lazee Aafaani Mim Mabtalaka Bihi Wa Fad’dalani Alaa Katheerim mim mun Khalaqa Tafdeela
All praise is due to Al’laah Who protected me from that with which He tested you and Who definitely favoured me over much of His creation. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.181)
DUA WHEN LEAVING HOME
The Holy Prophet r said, whoso ever recites this Dua before leaving his home, all his difficulties will go away and he shall be protected from the mischief of his enemies and shaitaan will stay away from him:
بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَآَّلْتُ عَلىَ اللهِ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِاللهِ ط
Bismil laahi Tawak’kaltu Alal laahi Wa Laa Hawla Wa Laa Quw’wata il’la bil’laah
Al’laah’s Name we begin with, I place my (full) trust in Al’laah and there is no Might and Power except with Al’laah (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.180)
DUA WHEN ENTERING THE MARKET PLACE
The Holy Prophet r said that if a person recites this Dua when entering a market place, Almighty Al’laah will command one million good
deeds to be recorded in his book of deeds, and He will forgive one million of his sins and he will exalt his status by one million folds.
La ilaaha il’lal laahu Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Yuhyee Wa Yumeetu Wa Huwa Hay’yul Laa Yamootu Bi Yadi hil Khair Wa Huwa Alaa Kul’li Shay’in Qadeer
“There is none worthy of worship except Al’laah. He is alone without any partner. To him belongs all Sovereignty and for Him is all Praises. He gives life and causes death and He is All Existing (Living) and does not die. In His Hand is all good and He has Divine Power over all things.”
(1) It must be noted that here the term “His Hand” does not mean that Al’laah has a hand, but it refers to Al’laahs Power and Divine Control. We must remember that Al’laah does not have any human or body parts etc. He is free from all that which creation is. He does not need eyes to see or ears to hear etc. He is Al’laah and does as He wills.
(2) When it is said that Al’laah has power over all things, it does not mean that Al’laah has the power to do bad things, like tell a lie etc. To believe this is totally incorrect. It is a weakness in qualities such a lies etc. that they cannot be attributed to Al’laah.
DUA WHEN GOING ON A JOURNEY
It is on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Sarjee that the Prophet used to recite the following Dua before going on a journey:
Al’laah hum’ma Anta Saahibu Fis Safaree Wal Khalifatu Fil Ahli – Al’laah hum’ma Ashabna Fi Safarina Wakhlufna Fi Ahlina – Al’laah hum’ma In’ni A’oozu bika miw wa’saa’is safaree wa Kaabatil Munqalabi Wa minal Hoori Ba’dal Koori Wa min Da’watil Mazloomi Wa Soo’il Manzari Fil Ahli wal Maali (Tirmizi Vol.1 Pg.181)
“O Al’laah, You are The True Guide on my Journey and the Protector of my Family. O Al’laah, You are Our True Guide on Our Journey and Our Protector of Our Families. O Al’laah I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of this journey, from beholding a miserable sight and on ill return in my family and wealth.”
When one sits on an animal or on a seat of a transport, recite this Dua:
سُبْحَنَ الَّذِىْ سَخَّرَلَنَا هَذَا وَ مَا آُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِيْنْ وَ اِنَّا اِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنْ
Subhaanal lazee Sakh’khara Lana Haaza Wa Maa Kun’na Lahu Muqrineen. Wa In’na ilaa Rab’bina La Munqaliboon
“Glory be to Al’laah who has given us control over this (mode of transport) and without his Grace we would not have been able to control it and undoubtedly we are to return towards our Lord.” (Abu Dawood – Tirmizi) When the Prophet r would go to see someone off on a journey, then before the person left the Prophet r would make the following dua for him:
اَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دِيْنَكَ وَاَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتيِْمَ عَمَلِكَ
Astawdi’ul’laaha Deenaka Wa Amaanatika Wa Khawaatima Amalika
I place your Religion, your reliance and the end of your deeds in the trust of Al’laah. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.182)
When the Holy Prophet r would return to Madinatul Munawwarah from any journey, then on reaching his blessed home, he would say,
Aa’ee Boona Taa’ee Boona Aa’bi Doona Li Rab’bina Haamidoona
We return repenting to our Lord, worshipping our Lord, and praising our Lord (Tirmizi Vol.2 Pg. 182)
The Holy Prophet r mentioned that whilst on journey if a person stops over anywhere (to rest or sleep etc.) and he reads the following dua, then no harm shall come to him whilst he is there.
A’oozu bi Kaleemaatil laahit Taam’maati min Shar’ri Ma Khalaqa
I seek refuge in Al’laah’s perfectly complete Word from the evils of that which has been created.
DUA FOR DEBTS
Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Abu Sa’eed Khudri reports that once the Holy Prophet r went to the Musjid and saw Hazrat Abu Umaama Ansaari t in the Musjid. The Prophet r asked, ‘O Abu Umaam! Why and for what reason are you seated in the Musjid at this time, whereas it is not the time for Namaaz?’ Hazrat Abu Umaama t replied, Ya Rasoolal’laah r I am under much pressure due to the burden of many problems and much debt.’ The Prophet r said, ‘Should I not teach you such a prayer that by reading it, Al’laah Almighty will removed all your sorrows and allow your debt to be fulfilled?’ Hazrat Abu Umaama t said, ‘Why not, Ya Rasoolal’laah r Please teach it to me.’ So the Prophet r said,
‘Read this dua daily, every morning and every evening:
Al’laah hum’ma In’ni A’oozubika minal Hum’mi Wal Huzni Wa A’oozu bika minal Ajzi wal Kasli Wa A’oozu bika minal Jubni wal
Bukhli wa A’oozu bika min Ghalbatid Dayni Wa Qahrir Rijaali
“O Al’laah, I seek refuge in You from agony and grief, and I seek refuge in You from incapability and laziness, and I seeik refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and the tyranny of men”
Hazrat Abu Umaama t says, ‘I recited this dua and my worries began to go away and Almighty Al’laah removed me from debts.’ (Abu Dawood Vol.1 Pg.217)
Hazrat Ali t says that if a person reads the following dua, his debts shall be wiped out, even if they are equivalent to a mountain.
Al’laah hum’ma Akfini Bi Halaalika A’n Haraamika Aghnini Bi Fadhlika Am’man Siwaaka
“O Al’laah, grant me sufficiency in your halaal (lawful) provision from the unlawful, And free me by your Grace from all besides You.” (Mishkaat Shareef Pg.216 – Tirmizi Shareef Vol.1 Pg.195)
DUA TO BE READ DURING A WIND STORM
The Beloved Prophet r used to read the following dua during a wind storm:
اَللَّهُمَّ اِ نِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَخَيْرِمَافِيْهَا وَخَيْرِ مَااُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ وَاَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّمَافِيْهَا وَشَرِّ مَااُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ
Al’laah hum’ma In’ni As’aluka min Khairihaa Wa Khairi Maa Feeha Wa Khairi Maa Ursilat Bihi Wa A’oozu bika min Shar’riha Wa Shar’ri Maa Feeha Wa Shar’ri Maa Ursilat Bihi
“O Al’laah! I ask you for its goodness, the good within it and the good it was with, and I seek refuge in you from its destruction and the destruction within it and from the destruction it was sent with.” (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.183)
PROTECTION FROM ALL CALAMITIES
The Holy Prophet r said that whosoever reads this thrice will not be harmed by anything in the world:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِىْ لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْئٌ فِى اْلاَرْضِ وَ لاَ فِى السَّمَآءِ وَهُوَ
السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
Bismil laahil Lazee Laa Yadur’ru Ma’as mihi Shay’un fil Ardi Wa Laa fis Sama’ee wa huwa Samee’ul Aleem
Al’laah’s Name we begin with, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the skies has the ability to cause harm and He is the All Seeing, The All-Knowing. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.173)
CURE FROM ILNESSES
It has been reported that both Abdul Azeez bin Suhaib and Thaabit Banaani رضى الله عنهم ا went to meet Hazrat Anas t and Thaabit Banaani said, O Abu Hamza (Hazrat Anas), I have become ill.’ Hazrat Anas t said, ‘Should I not read that dua and blow over you which the Prophet r used to read and blow over those who were ill, so that they may be cured?’ Hazrat Thaabit Banaani said, ‘Why not’, so Hazrat Anas t read this dua:
اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَاسِ اِشْفِ اَ نْتَ الشَّافِىْ لاَ شَافِىْ اِلاَّ اَ نْتَ شِفَاءً لاَيُغَادِرُ سُقْمًا
Al’laah hum’ma Rab’ban Naasi Muzhibal Baasi – Ishfi Anta Shaafi – Laa Shaafi il’la Anta Shifa’an Laa Yughaadiru Suqma
O Al’laah, Sustainer of mankind, remove his difficulty and cure him. You are the only One who cures. There is no cure but Yours. Grant such (complete) cure that leaves no trace of illness. (Bukhari Shareef Vol.2 Pg.855)
WHEN IN FEAR OF ANY NATION
The Holy Prophet r said that if one fears that any nation or army may cause harm to his life or wealth, then he should read:
اَللَّهُمَّ اِناَّ نَجْعَلُكَ فِىْ نُحُوْرِهِمْ وَ نَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُوْرِهِمْ
Al’laah hum’ma In’na Naj’aluka Fi Nuhoorihim Wa Na’oozu bika min Shuroorihim (Abu Dawood Vol.1 Pg.215)
O Al’laah, we beg of You to repel them and we seek refuge in You from their evil
DUA TO COOL ONES ANGER
The Holy Prophet r said that if a person reads (this) when he is angry, then his anger shall go away.
A’oozu Bil’laahi Minash Shaitaanir Rajeem
“I seek refuge in Al’laah from Shaitaan the cursed” (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.183)
SALAATUL HAAJAT
When in any difficulty and one needs to have this need fulfilled then he/she should make proper wudhu and read two Rakaats Namaaz with the intention of Salaatul Haajat, then after completion of the Namaaz (after turning salaam), make the following dua:
Al’laah hum’ma In’ni As’aluka Wa Atawaj’jahu ilaika Nabiy’yika Muhammadin Nabiy’yir Rahmati Ya Muhammadu In’ni Atawaj’jahu
bika ilaa Rab’bi Fi Haajati Haazihi Li Taqdiyaa Li Al’laah hum’ma Fashaf’fi’hoo Fiy’ya
“O Al’laah! Verily I ask of you and towards you I use the mediation of Nabi-e-Rahmat my Muhammad Mustafa r O Muhammad! Verily I turn through your Wasila to your Creator for my needs so that my needs may be fulfilled. O Al’laah, accept for me the intercession of Muhammad r.” Hazrat Uthman bin Hunaif reports that a blind person came to the Prophet r and asked the Prophet r that Almighty Al’laah blesses him with Shifa, so the Prophet r commanded him to make proper wudhu and to read two Rakaats of Namaaz and then on completion to recite the prescribed dua. He did as he was commanded and he regained his sight. (Tirmizi – Nisa’I – Ibn Majah – Haakim – Hisn Haseen – Baihaqi)

When entering the Musjid say:
اَلصَّلاَ ةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلىَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ اَللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِىْ اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
As Salaatu Was Salaamu alaa Rasoolillaahi, Al’laah hum’maf tah li Abwaaba Rahmatika
Peace and Salutations upon you, O Prophet of Al’laah. O Al’laah! Open for me the Doors of your Mercy
DUA WHEN LEAVING THE MUSJID
When leaving the Musjid say:
اَللَّهُمَّ اِ نِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Al’laah hum’ma In’ni As’aluka Min Fadhlika
“O Al’laah! I ask of You, Your Favour”
DUA TO REMOVE PAIN
Hazrat Uthman bin Abil A’as t says, “I was in immense pain and the pain was so severe that it brought me close to destruction, so I went to
the Prophet r. The Holy Prophet r said, ‘Keep your right hand on the area where there is pain and then run the hand over that area by reading seven times,
A’oozu Bi Iz’zatil laahi Wa Qudratihi min Shar’ri Maa Ajidu.’
“I seek refuge in Al’laah and His Divine Power from the harshness of what I feel and agonize about”
Thus, I did as I was commanded to, and Almighty Al’laah took my pain away and I always asked those in my home to do the same and I also advised others who (are in pain) to do the same.” (Abu Dawood Vol.2 Pg.543)
DUA WHEN WEARING NEW CLOTHES
When wearing new clothes, read the following Dua:
اَ لْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِىْ آَسَانِىْ مَااُوَارِىْ بِهِ عَوْرَ تِىْ وَ اَتَجَّمَلُ بِهِ فِىْ حَيَاتِىْ

"All praise is due to Al’laah, who has clothed me so that I may hide my nakedness and so that I may adorn myself in my lifetime. (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.195)
DUA DURING THUNDER AND LIGHTNING
The Holy Prophet r would read the following dua during thunder and lightning:
اَللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ وَ لاَ تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ وَعَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذَالِكَ
Al’laah hum’ma Laa Taqtulna Bi Ghadabika Wa Laa Tuhlikna Bi Azaabika Wa Aafina Qabla Zaalika
“O Al’laah, Do not cause us death by Your Wrath and do not destroy us by Your punishment and forgive us before that happens”
DUA ON SIGHTING THE NEW MOON
On sighting the new moon, the Beloved Prophet r would make the following Dua:
اَللَّهُمَّ اَهِلَّه‘ عَلَيْنَا باِلْيُمْنِ وَاْلاِ يْمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَة وَاْلاِسْلاَمِ رَ بِّىْ وَرَ بُّكَ اللهُ
Al’laah hum’ma Ahil’lahu alaina bil yumni wal Imaani was salaamati Islaami Rab’bi wa Rab’bukal Laah (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.183)
"O Al’laah, let this moon (month) pass over us with blessings, Imaan, safety, and in the belief of Islam. Grant us the ability to act on the actions that You love and Pleases You. (O moon) My Lord and your Lord is Al’laah" Important Note: Sighting of the new moon is of great significance in Islam. The Holy Prophet (peace and
salutations upon him) has stated, Commence fasting by seeing the moon and end fasting (celebrate Eid) by seeing the moon, and if the skies are cloudy then complete the counting of thirty days. (Bukhari, Muslim).
1. It is Wajib-e-Kifaaya (compulsory upon the necessary few in the community)to see the moon for five months. These are
Shabaan, Ramadan, Shawwal, Zil Qad and Zil Hajj (Fatawa-e-Razvia)
2. Attempt to see the moon on the twenty-ninth of Shabaan in the evening and if you can see it then keep fast the next day
and if you can not see the moon then complete thirty days of Shabaan and then start Ramadaan. (Hidaya, Alamgiri, Bahar)
DUA TO READ ON SHAB’BE QADR NIGHT OF POWER IN RAMADAAN
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa رضى الله عنه ا says, ‘I asked the Prophet r, O Prophet of Al’laah r, If I find the exact night of Lailatul Qadr, then what dua
should I make on that night?’ The Beloved Rasool r said,
Al’laah hum’ma In’naka Afuw’wun Tuhib’bul Afwa Fa’fu An’ni
“O Al’laah! You are the Forgiver and You love forgiving, so (Please) forgive me” (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.190)
DUA WHEN LOOKING IN THE MIRROR
Al’laah hum’ma Kama Has’santa Khalqi Fa Ahsin Khuluqi Wa Jar’rid Wajhi alan Naari
“O Al’laah! Just as You have given me good looks, so grant me good character, and keep my face safe from the fire (of hell)”
DUA WHEN VISITING THE SICK
When the Holy Prophet r would go to visit a sick person, then he would say twice:
لاَ بَاسَ طَهُوْرٌ اِنْ شَآءَ اللهُ
Laa Baasa Tahoorun Insha Al’laahu
“Dont worry, it is a means of purification, If Al’laah Wills.” (Mishkaat Shareef)
The Beloved Prophet r said, ‘When any Muslim goes to visit another Muslim who is ill, and he reads seven times these prayers, then definitely Al’laah Almighty will grant the sick person cure from illness, unless the time of death has come upon him.’
As’alul laahal Azeema Rab’bal Arshil Azeem Ay Yashfeeka
“I ask Al’laah, The Supreme Lord of the Magnificent Throne to grant you cure” (Mishkaat Shareef Pg.135)
Or he should read this when visiting the sick:
يَاحَلِيْمُ يَاآَرِ يْمُ اِشْفِ فُلاَ ناً
Ya Haleemu Ya Kareemu Ishfi Fulaan (Instead of Fulaan, put in the name of the ill person)
“O Most Fore-bearing, Most Generous, Cure (Add persons name here)”
BENEFICIAL DUAS FOR MORNING AND EVENING
The Holy Prophet r said, ‘That person who says:
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ Subhaanal’laahi (Glory be to Al’laah) one hundred times morning and evening, it is like he has performed a hundred Hajj, and he who says:
اَ لْحَمْدُللهِ Alhumdu lil laahi (All Praise is due to Al’laah) a hundred times, it is as though he has pledged a hundred horses for riding in the way of Al’laah or he said that he has been in one hundred
battles, and he who reads: لآَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ Laa ilaaha il’lal laahu (There is none worthy of worship except Al’laah) Every morning and evening one hundred times, he is like him who has freed one hundred slaves from the people of Hazrat Isma’eel (alaihis salaam) and he who says: اَللهُ اَآْبَرُ Al’laahu Akbar (Al’laah is the Greatest) One hundred times morning and evening, then there is none others actions better than his except for his, who reads this kalima or equal to it or more than it’ (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.185)
A TREE IN JAN’NAT
The Holy Prophet r said that one who reads this once, a tree is planted for him in Jan’nat and the Prophet r said that the one who reads it one hundred times, shall have all his minor sins (Gunaahe Sagheera) forgiven even if they are equal to the foam on the sea.
Subhaanal laahil Azeem Wa Bi Humdihi
Glory be to Al’laah, The Most Supreme and Praises are due to Him
A BILLION REWARDS
The Holy Prophet r said that one who reads this ten times, shall had a hundred million rewards (good deeds) written for him.
‘Ash Hadu Al Laa ilaaha il’ lal laahu Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lahu ilaahaw Waahidan Samadal Lum Yat’ ta khiz Saahibataw Wa Laa Waladaw Wa Lum Ya Kul lahu Kufuwan Ahad’
“I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Al’laah, He is the One and Only. He has no partners. He is the only Al’laah. He has no needs. Neither is He begotten nor does He beget and there is none equal to Him".
IMPORTANCE OF PRAISING AL’LAAH AND SENDING
DUROOD, BEFORE DUA
It is on the authority of Fudhala bin Ubaid that the Holy Prophet r was present and a person entered (the mosque) and read his Namaaz and after Namaaz he read this dua:
اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِىْ وَارْحَمْنِىْ Al’ laah hum’magh firli war Humnee (“O Al’laah forgive me and have Mercy on me”)
so the Prophet r said to him, ‘O Namaazi! You were very hasty. When you complete your Namaaz, then remain seated and first praise Al’laah with those words (of praise) which are befitting His Divine Majesty and then send Durood upon me, and then make dua.’ After this, another person (arrived) and read his Namaaz (it was possibly Abdullah ibn Mas’ood), so he praised Almighty Al’laah and then send Durood
upon Nabi-e-Kareem r so the Prophet r said to him, ‘O Worshipper! Now make dua, it shall be accepted.’ (Tirmizi Shareef Vol.2 Pg.186)
Note: From the above mentioned beautiful narration it can be understood that when we wish to make any dua, we should firstly praise
Al’laah, then send Durood upon our Nabi and then make dua, especially after our Salaah. After salaah we should thus try to say,
Alhumdu lil laahi Rab’bil Aalameen Was Salaatu Was Salaamu Alaa Say’yidil Mursaleena Wa Alaa Aalihi Wa Sahbihi Ajma’een.
“All Praise is due to Al’laah, Creator of the Worlds and Salutations and Blessings upon the Leader of the Prophets and (blessings) upon his distinguished family and all his illustrious companions.”

They were all normalhuman beings. They came forward to helpIslam by their physical and financial services. And look at the reward. They becameKhalifa-e-Islam, Governors, and important personalities of Islam in this worldand their reward in Hereafter is unlimited. Dear brothers and sisters, come, join hands to safeguard Islam. You willindeed be rewarded in both these worlds. Don’t ever think that your services toIslam will go in vain. Do not shy awayfrom this important task. Come forward and do somethingas real Islam is in danger of extinction.

After some time, you can extend your propagation activities to your local mosque, orarranged gatherings for an hour or so over the week end. Your experience will guide you how to be agood propagator of Correct Islamic Faith.
Overcome Psychological Barriers
(1) Some people think that though they have burning desire to explain Sahih Iman topeople, but their pressing jobs do not permit them to do so. Be that as it may, but if you reorganize youractivities on week ends, you will definitely be able to take a few hours forthis activity. We waste a lot of time inwatching movies, wasteful gossip, or simply sleeping and doing nothing. If you use a small fraction of your freetime, daily or over the week ends for Islamic Propagation purpose, you can dowonders. The problem lies within our ownselves. We are used to certainactivities which can be reorganized for this important task.
(2) Knowing and explaining ‘Sahih Iman’ is very important for us. On it depends our success in this life andsalvation in Hereafter. Remember, it is our duty to protect our children andtheir following generations from falling victims to Salafi and other SectarianDawa. If you don’t act now, it is mostlikely that we will have to watch our own children burning in Hell Fire inHereafter. Just think about it, you willfind a lot of time and resources within your daily schedule.
(3) Some people think that we need financial resources to run this type ofactivity. In this context, if you thinkcoolly, you will find ways of means to accumulate minimum financial resourcesfor this important task. We all docharity in some way or another. If weset aside some portion of this charity for this purpose and donate this amount, or use it for this purpose, there willnot be any problem whatsoever.
(4) There are many Ahle Sunnah Muslims who are working in good jobs in the Middle East,Europe, US, Canada, India and other places. They all do charity. It isimportant that they set aside some amount for propagation of Sahih Iman in theworld as it has become very important to protect Sahih Aqeedah. You all can Donate 5 or 10 Dollars per month. This kind of contributions areinsignificant But, together, this amount can help in bringing people back to CorrectIslamic faith. If you do not realizethis urgency now, it will be verydifficult to safeguard Real Islam in the World. Every single Muslim home is divided into people belonging to differentsects. We need to do something right nowand save our children from eternal hell fire. If we do not act collectively, affluent and rich Sects will overtake ourfamilies. By participating in this effort, we are actually helping our own familiesfrom falling victim to Un Islamic Da’wa of Sectarian people. from your point of view.
(5) Propagation requires dedication and selflessness and it is a long term process. You may find difficulties in the beginning, but over a period of time, things will become easier as you will develop adedicated team to help you in your tasks.
(6) Remember, all these years you were working for your own selves, now let us work for thesalvation of our children, relatives and other Muslims. There is a very long life in Hereafter, andyour assistance to your families, friends and other Muslims will indeed be agreat service; more than what you did to help your children in their worldlyeducation and their job careers. Teach your children how to balance religiousand worldly responsibilities for success in this world and in Hereafter.

Reasons Why We kiss The Thumbs and Touch Our Eyes.
" QURRAT AYNAYYA BIKA YA RASULL-ALLAH"
A Hadith in Dailami narrated by hadrat Abu bakr Siddique [i](Radi Allahu anhu) states that Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said;[/i]
" when the Muazzin says;
" Muhammadur Rasulullah," if one kisses his two thumbs and touches his eyes and says,
" Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasuluh, radhi-tu bil-lahi Rabban wa bil-Islami deen-an wa bi Muhammadin sall- Allahu alaihi wa sallama Nabiyyan",
My Intercession becomes Halal for him."
Another hadith Sharif declares:
" I will look for and find and take to Paradise on the Day of Judgement the one who put their thumbs on their eyes upon hearing my name in Azaan."
Hanafi scholar al-Tahtawi, writes on the authority of al-Quhistani in his annotation in Mara al Falah;
" It is mustahab to put the thumbs on one's eyes and say
" Qurrat aynayya bika ya Raui-Allah! Allahumma matti'ni bi-s-sami wa l-basri." when the Muazzin recites Rasul-Allah's (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) name for the seconed time in the Azaan, because Rasulullah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) wil take the one who does so to Paradise."
Sheikh- Zada who passed away in 1544, in his annotation of tafsir by al-Badawi, narrates from Abu l-Wafa that he saw some fatwas stating that Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddique (Radi Allahu anhu) kissed the nails of his two thumbs and then touched his two eyes with them when he heard our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) name in the Azaan, and when Rasulullah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) asked him why he did so he said;
" To attain blessings through your Blessed name."
Aap (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) then declared,
" You did well. He who does so never suffers from eye disease."
One should say, " Allahummam'mahfuz aynayya w nawwirhuma"
when the nails touch the eye lids.
A very similar incident narrated by Imam Abu Muhammad Bin Ali (Rehmatullahi ’Alaih) in his book Qu-tul-Qulub, that Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) appeared splendidly in the mosque on the 10th Muharram to offer Friday prayers, when Hadrat Bilal (Radi Allahu anhu) was giving Azaan.. After the azaan Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) on seeing Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddique (Radi Allahu anhu) action of rubbing his thumbs on his eyes stated; " O Abu Bakr ! who so ever shows his love for me like you do, Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) will remit all his sins".
Al- Quhistani, who passed away in Bukhara in 1508, also reports from the book, Kanz al- ibad:
" It is Mustahab to say, " Sall-Allahu wa sallama aynayya bika Ya Rasul-Allah!" when one hears the first 'Muhammad' in the azaan and to say,
" Quraat aynayya bika Ya Rasul_Allah" upon hearing the Blessed name being repeated, and then put the two thumbs on ones eyes and say,
Allahumma Matti'ni bi-s-sami wa l- basri"
before removing one's thumbs:
Our beloved Master Rasulullah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) will take this person to Paradise.
The Act of kissing the thumbs and touching the eyes reveals respect and reverance for our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
Actually this is a bargain of love.
The hearts Blessed with the love of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) will not deny this noble action.
But if some one's heart is bereft of the love of Aap (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), he is incurable. If he denies this blissful action, which guarantees salvation, it is the echo of his inner self.
May Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) open our hearts to the light and give us the tawfiq of recognising the light and Love of Almighty Allah's Most beloved , Aap (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
It is the Sunnah of Hadrat Adam (alayhis 'salam), but seen as we had the thread on Hadrat Adam (alayhis 'salam) before, I didnt think the need to post it again, but here it is any way.
This Hadith narrated by Abd ar-Rahman Zayed ibn Aslam from his grandfather, Umar ibn Khattab, that when Adam (alaihis –salaam) ate the forbidden fruit from the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden, Adam (alaihis- salaam) said ;
“O lord! I ask you for the sake of Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)to forgive me”.
Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) said;
“How did you know Muhammad?”
He Adam (alayhis 'salam) said;
" Because when you blew life into me and I raised my head I saw on the legs of your Throne written
‘Laa ilaha Ill-Allah Muhammadu Rasululah’, so I knew you would not put next to your name except the one who is the most beloved to you,”
Allah Almighty said;
“You spoke the truth, O Adam, and if it were not for Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).. I would not have created you.”
This hadith is Sahih, And Bukhari narrated it him self!.
Another Hadith by Imam Hanbal, Al-Jawzi Ibn Hajar declares “ Rahma (Allah’s Mercy decends where Our beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) name is mentioned and at this auspicious moment it would be most appropritate to show love for Our Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) by following the way of Prophet Adam (alayhis 'salam) and the Shahaba and kiss the thumbs and rub them on the eyelids.
It has also been written in Roz- ul faiq that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) brightened the beauty of Our Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) in nails of both the thumbs of Hadhrat Adam (alayhis 'salam) like mirrors who in turn then kissed the nails of both the thumbs and rubbed on his eyes, after Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) forgave him in the name of Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) “ Hence this deed of Hadhrat Adam (alayhis 'salam) Continued to be observed amongst his children.
Also in “(Rooh- ul-Bayan, vol 7 p.229) it states, When Jibril (A.S.) informed Our Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) of the above, Aap (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) replied;
“ Whoever upon hearing my name rubs his nails over the eyes having kissed them will never become blind."
I hope the above has been of any help if I have made any mistakes May Allah ta’ala in the name of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) forgive and guide me on the right path. The True Path of Ahl- E- Sunnah, Wal jammah. Ameen.
In Jannat, when Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam) desired to meet the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), then Allah
Ta'ala sent Wahi (revelation) to him, "From your generation, he will become apparent in the later years". Then Hazrat
Adam (alaihis salaam) desired from Allah Ta’ala to meet the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Allah Ta’ala showed
him the Noor of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) on the Shahadat finger of his right hand. The Noor recited
the Tasbeeh of Allah Ta'ala. It is for this reason that this finger is known as the Kalima finger. Allah Ta'ala showed the
beauty of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) on both the thumbnails of Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam) like a
mirror. Then, Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam)
kissed both his thumbnails and turned them over his eyes.
Thus, this Sunnah of Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam) became consistent in his descendants. When Hazrat Jibraeel Ameen
(alaihis salaam) informed Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) of this, he said, "That person, who when hearing my
name in Azaan, kisses his thumb nails and turns it over his eyes, he shall never go blind." (Tafseer Roohul Bayaan)
Once, the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) entered the Masjid and sat down near a pillar. Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) was seated beside him. Hazrat Bilal (radi Allahu anhu) then stood up and commenced with the
Azaan. When he said: "Ash hadu Ana Muhammadur Rasoolullah", Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) placed
both the thumb nails on to his eyes and said "Qurratu Aini bika Ya Rasoolallah" (Ya Rasoolallah! You are the coolness of
my eyes). When Hazrat Bilal (radi Allahu anhu) completed the Azaan, the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"O Abu Bakr! Whosoever does like you have done, Almighty Allah will forgive all his sins." (Tafseer Roohul Bayaan)
Sayyiduna Imam Hassan (radi Allahu anhu) said, "Whosoever hears the Mu'azzin say 'Ash Hadu Ana Muhammadur
Rasoolullah' and says, 'Marhaba bi Habibi' and 'Quratu Aini Muhammad bin Abdullah' and then kisses both thumbs and
keeps it on his eyes, then he will never become blind and his eyes will never be sore." (Maqaaside Husna)
It is desirable after (hearing) the first Shahaadah of Azaan, to say: "Sallal laahu alaika Ya Rasoolallah" and after hearing
the second Shahaadah, to say "Qur'ratu Aini bika Ya
Rasoolallah". You should then kiss the nails of your thumb and place them on the eyes and say: "Allahuma Mati'ni bis Sam'i
Wal Basari" then the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) will take such persons behind him into Jannah. (Shaami
Shareef)
In another Kitaab it is stated that both the thumbs of the hands should be kissed and rubbed on the eyes and when the
Mu’azzin says: "Ash hadu Ana Muhammadur Rasoolulah" then say, "Ash Hadu Ana Muhammadan Abduhu wa Rasooluhu
Raditu billahi Rabban Wa bi Islami Deenan wa Muhammadin Nabbiyan". (Tahtaawi Shareef)
From these discussions it can be affirmed that kissing the thumbs and touching them with the eyes at the time of Azaan
is Mustahab. It is the practice (Sunnah) of Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam), Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (radi Allahu anhu) and
others. The scholars of the Shari’ah (Fuqaha), Ahadith (Muhaddiseen) and the Knowledge of the Quran (Mufassireen) all
are in agreement with this issue.
11. This practice carries multiple benefits, some of which are:
• 11.1 The man who acts upon this practices and maintains it as a regular habit shall not suffer any disease or pain in
his eyes.
• 11.2 Insha Allah, he shall not become blind at any stage of his life.
• 11.3 For a person who suffers from any ailment in his eyes, he should adopt this practice as a cure of his ailment. It
is hoped his eyes shall become normal and healthy once again.
11.4 The person who constantly adopts this act of goodness showing his deep regard and veneration for the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) shall be blessed and honoured with his Shafa’at on the Day of Judgment and he shall be
included in the rows of the followers of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in the light of Quran & Ahadith.
The word Milad has been derived from "viladut" which means birth. Therefore, according to Arabic language, Milad is word which signifies the place and time of birth. In the light of Shariah, we mean, Milad is to remember the events which took place at the birth time of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and we get the opportunity of narrating the Seerat of the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) on this occasion, we also presents the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) gifts of Durood -o- salam. We mention before the people attributes and praises of the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him). We do not believe that Milad is specified with same night but, we believe that the remembrance of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is incumbent in each minute and second of time and every Muslim should act it sunnahs in the whole life time. Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is a great source of preaching. It is incumbent for scholars to teach Muslims nations on this Holy occasion, moral behavior of the Holy Prophet, (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) his antiquates, His affairs, His Seerat, His dealings and His worships.
Evidence of the Holy Quran
The Qur’anic verses proves that to celebrate Milad is not only a proper deed but it is also a praiseworthy.
1) Allah Almighty says in Quran:
"The peace is on Him the day when he was born and the day when he will die and the day when he will be raised alive." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al-Maryam, Verse 15)
In the above verse Allah Almighty has mentioned the complete Milad of Hazrat Yahya (Alaihis Salam). And before this Allah Almighty has mentioned the events which took place before the birth. It is the same way of celebrating birth day as Ahle Sunnat adopts for the Milad of the last Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) of Allah Almighty. In other words the Prophet of Allah Almighty Hazrat Isa (Alaihis Salam) celebrates his own Milad.
2) As Allah Almighty says:
"And the same peace on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I would be raised alive." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al Maryam, Verse 33)
Before this verse Allah Almighty has stated the whole story of Maryam (Allah may pleased with him) that who she got pregnant and gave birth her great son, the Prophet of Allah Isa (Alaihi Salam). Allah Almighty also mentioned the words of Isa (Alaihis Salam) by which Isa (Alaihis Salam) praised himself. This style of narrating story is nothing but celebration of Milad of Isa Alaihis Salam. Ahle Sunnat also narrate the story of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) in the same style. We too narrate the events which took place before the birth and after it as Allah Almighty narrated about Yahya and Isa (Alaihimus Salam). Therefore, a person who has eyes of justice will obviously accept that to celebrate Milad is an important deed which Allah Almighty has done. So it proves that the basis of Milad is found in the Holy Quran.
3) Allah Almighty says: "And remind them of the days of the Allah." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Ibrahim, Verse5)
In this verse Allah Almighty orders his prophet Musa Alaihis Salam to remind his nation the days of Allah Almighty. "The days of Allah" are those days in which great events took place or Allah Almighty bestowed his great rewards to his creature. As the Holy Quran testifies this explanation of the days of Allah Almighty.
"And when Musa said it his people remember Allah's favor upon you, when he delivered you from Firawn's people who used to afflict you worstly, and slaughter your sons and let your daughters live and in it there was shown great mercy of your lord." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Ibrahim, Verse 6)
According to the Qur’anic verse emancipation of the nation of Musa Alaihis Salam from Firawn is a day of Allah, so the birth day of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is, with any doubt, also a day of Allah, because the Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) emancipated whole world from the darkness of ignorance and brought them to the light of guidance. Therefore, the birthday (Milad) of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) deserves to be celebrated then the celebration of any other event. In case we would not be grateful to Allah Almighty for his favor, which is Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him). He will punish us severely.
As Allah Almighty says: "And remember when your lord proclaimed, if you will be great full then I shall give you more and if you’re thankless then my treatment is severe." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Ibrahim, and Verse 7)
4) Allah Almighty says: "Then remember the bounties of Allah and wander not in the earth spreading mischief." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Araf, Verse 74)
In the above verse Allah Almighty orders us to remember his bounties and rewards. The last Prophet of Allah Almighty Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is, undoubtedly, great blessing of Allah Almighty for whole mankind. Allah Almighty himself considers the Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) his great favor for mankind as He says: "Undoubtedly, Allah did a great favor to the Muslims that in them from among themselves sent a messenger who recites unto them His signs and purifies them and teaches them the book and wisdom and necessarily before that they were certainly apparent error. (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Ale Imran, Verse 164)
Therefore, according to the Qur’anic commandments we must remember the beloved Prophet of Allah Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and Milad-un-Nabi is a best way of remembrance of the greatest Prophet (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him).
In another words Allah Almighty says: "And publicize well the favor of your lord" (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al Duha, Verse 11)
The companion of the Holy Prophet (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him) Hazrat Abdullah Ibne Abbas (Allah is well pleased with Him) explained the word favors. He says here, In this verse favor signifies the prophet hood and Islam. (Tafseer Ibne Abbas, Sure Al Duha, Page 651).
So in the light of the given explanation by the cousin of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him), we can say that Allah Almighty orders us to remember Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) in our gatherings between the people, in our mosque between the worshiper and in our houses between our families and Milad un Nabi (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him), as I have written is a best way for this Qur’anic purpose.
4) Allah Almighty orders us: "Say you oly Allah's grace and his mercy, on it therefore let them rejoice. That is better then all their wealth."
In this verse Allah Almighty orders us to enjoy on his grace and mercy. If we see around us we find that each favor of Allah Almighty is great mercy for us. Even our existence is also a mercy of Allah Almighty. But the greatest of Allah is the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him).
As Allah Almighty says: "And we sent not you but mercy for all worlds." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al Ambiyaa, Verse 107)
So according the Qur’anic teachings it is necessary for us that ewe must be happy and pleased on the birthday of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him). The one who pleases with the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) is really a true follower of the Quran. And it is obvious that, in whole world Muslims celebrates Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him). Specially for enjoying the mercy of Allah Almighty that is the beloved prophet of Allah Almighty (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)Therefore the Holy Quran itself confirms the Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)
5) The gathering of Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) incite Muslims on saying Durood and Salam ( to pray for prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) of blessing and peace) Allah Almighty says:
"Oh you who I believe send upon Him blessing and salute Him fully well in abundance. (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Al Ahzab, Verse 56)
According to the law of Shariah, a thing which is desired by Shariah, is exactly a like an aim of Shariah. And the benefits of Durood -o- salam are so much in numbers that can not be counted. Durood -o- salam causes for the help of Allah Almighty in this world and here after. So Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is a source of fulfilling the commandments of Allah Almighty
6) Allah Almighty says:
"And all that we narrate to you of the tidings of the messengers is for the purpose of strengthening your heart therewith." (Kanzul Iman the translation of Holy Quran, Sura Hood, Verse 121)
This Qur’anic verse reveals that the wisdom of mentioning the stories and events of Prophets (Alaihis salam) was to stand fast the heart of the last prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him). And it is obvious that we are, also today, in need of being stand fast. We must know that how; the prophet of Allah (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) faced the problems of his time so that we may face the problems of our times according to the Sunnah. Therefore Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) provides us an opportunity to know about the affair of the Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him).
Evidence of Hadith (Narrations of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)
There are many narrations, which proves the Milad Sharif but I write a few.
1) The Prophet of Allah (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him) himself stated his own birth from very beginning He says: "I had been transferred, continuously, from purified offspring to purified wombs. I had been given birth by a lawful marriage not by adultery. When Allah Almighty sent Adam Alaihis Salam on earth so He put me in his spine and then transferred in Nuh Alaihis salam in his boat, and then in Ibrahim Alaihis salam Allah Almighty transferred me continuously from noble offspring to the purified wombs up to that He brought me in my parents who never committed adultery."
(Tafseer Ruhul Bayan, Vol. 3, Page 54)
As I have written in the beginning that Milad means the time of birth or place of birth. So the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) himself celebrated his own Milad. In the same way Ahle Sunnat following the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)narrate the events of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) .This hadith is the clear proof Milad un Nabi (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him) and as well as tell us that to celebrate Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) is not innovation (bidat) but it is a sunnah (tradition) of Prophet (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him).
There are many other narrations which narrate that the Prophet of Allah (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) celebrate his own Milad several times, some of those narrations have been written in Mishkat Sharif.
2) "The one who rejoices on the birth day of the Holy Prophet would not be severely punished and it is hopped that a Muslim who celebrate the Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him), will not be punished in hell. Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih narrates that Abu Lahab would be punished lightly in the hell on Monday. Because he rejoiced and freed his handmaid indicating by his finger, when the Prophet of Allah Almighty (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) took birth. So as a reward of happiness on Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) he would be given water by his finger. (Saheehul Bukhari Vol. 2, Page 764)
Imam Shams ud din Naseer Al Damaishqi narrates this hadith in poetry. Here is its translation.
If such kafir was denounced (in the Quran)
And perished are his hands, and in the flame is his eternal abode.
It is narrated every Monday.
His torment is made easy for his joy at the birth of Ahmad. (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)
What is the expectation then of a servant who spent all his life.
Happy with the arrival of Ahmad (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) and died on the one ness of Allah Almighty. (Haul-ul-Ahtifal Bil Mawlid Al-Nabvi Al Sharif, Page 11)
2) The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) celebrated his own Milad by having fast. Imam Wali ud din write this narration with reference to the Saheeh Muslim. When the Prophet of Allah (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) was asked about the fast of Monday. He (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) said:
"I took birth and the Quran was revealed upon me in this day."
(Mishkat Sharif, Page 179)
This narration proves that to celebrate Milad un Nabi is a tradition of the Holy Prophet (Allah’s Grace and Peace be upon him) on every Monday. Secondly it is lawful to fix a particular day for Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him). Thirdly it is an act of sunnah to worship in the pleasure of the Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him)
Evidence of general consensus of Muslim ummah and scholars (Ulema)
1) Imam Al-Hafiz Al-Suyuti in his famous book "Al-Hawii Lil-Fatawii" allocated a special chapter on that topic and named it "The Excellence of Objective in Celebrating the Mawlid" where he said: The question under consideration is what the verdict of the Shari'ah on celebrating the Holy Birthday of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) during the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal. From the point of view of Shari'ah is this a praiseworthy action or a blameworthy one? And do those who arrange such celebration Receive blessings or not? He said:
"The reply to this question is that in my view the Milad Shareef (Celebration of the Birthday of the Noble Prophet Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is in fact such an occasion of happiness on which people assemble and recite the Holy Qu'ran to the extent that is easy. Then they relate the prophecies concerning the appearance of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) that have been transmitted in Ahadith and Author, and the miraculous events and signs that took place on his birth. Then food is set before them and according to their desire they partake thereof to satisfaction. This festival of celebrating the birthday of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is a Bid'ah Hasanah (good Innovation) and those arranging it will get blessing, since in such a celebration is found the expression of joy and happiness at the greatness and eminence of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and his birth".
Even Ibn Tay'miah said in his book "Necessity of the Right Path", p. 266, 5th line from the bottom of that page, published by Dar Al-Hadith, the following:
"As far as what people do during the Milad, either as a rival celebration to that which the Christian do during the time of Christ's birthday or as an expression of their love and admiration and a sign of praise for the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him), Allah Almighty will surely reward them for such Ijtihad". He then said: "Although Milad was not practiced by (Salaf), they should have done so since there was no objection against it from the Shari'ah point of view".
And we certainly only celebrate Milad out of love and admiration to the Prophet of all Mankind.
2. Imam Al-Hafiz Al-Qastalani, who gave commentary on Sahih Bukhari, said: "May Allah Almighty shower his Mercy upon a person who takes the days of the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal, in which the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) was born, as days of feast and celebration for doing so is the best cure for the heart of an ailing person."
3. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar was asked, same reference of Imam Suyuti, about Milad Shareef. His reply was:
"Milad Shareef is, in fact, and innovation, which was not transmitted from any pious predecessor in the first three centuries. Nevertheless, both acts of virtue as well as acts of abomination are found in it (i.e. Sometimes acts of virtue are found therein and sometimes acts of abomination). If in the Milad Shareef only acts of virtue are done and acts of abomination are abstained from, then the Milad Shareef is a Bid'ah Hasanah (good innovation), otherwise not."
He then added "
"To do any virtuous act and to observe it annually as means of recollection for any special day on which Allah Almighty has bestowed any favor or removed any calamity is a form of showing gratitude to Allah Almighty. Gratitude to Allah Almighty is expressed through different kinds of Ibaadah (worship) -prostration and standing in prayer, charity and recitation of the Holy Qu'ran. And what is a greater favor from Allah Almighty can there be than the appearance of the Prophet of Mercy (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) on this day (i.e. 12th of Rabbi-ul-Awwal)?" Some people do not limit it and celebrate the Milad Shareef on any day of Rabbi-ul-Awwal. Nay, some people have extended it even more and increased the period to the whole year. According to the latter, the Milad Shareef can be celebrated on any day of the year. The objective here is the same, i.e. to rejoice at and celebrate the Holy Birth of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him).
4. Imam Abu-Bakr Abdullah Al-Dimashqi compiled a number of books on the subject and called them "Collection of Traditions on the Birth of the Chosen Prophet", "The Pure Expression on the Birthday of the Best of Creations" and "The Spring for the Thirsty One on the Birth of the Rightly Guided".
5. Imam Al-Hafiz Al-Iraqi wrote a book and called it "The Pure Spring on the Sublime Birth".
6. Imam Ibn Dahyah wrote a book and called it "Enlightenment on the Birthday of the Bearer of Good News, The Warner".
7. Imam Mulla Ali Qari wrote a book and called it "The Quenching Spring on the Birthday of the Prophet". (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him)
8. Imam Shams ul-Din bin Naseer Al-Dimashqi, said in his book: "The Spring for the Thirsty One on the Birth of the Rightly Guided" about the story of Abu Lahab that he will receive a light punishment every Monday for expressing joy at the birth of the Noble Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon him) on that day. The Imam said the following verse of poetry, the translation is: If such Kafir was denounced in the (Qur'an) and perished are his hands, and in the Flames is his eternal abode It is narrated that every Monday.
His torment is made easy for his Joy at the Birth of Ahmad What is the expectation then of a servant who spent all his life Happy with the Arrival of Ahmad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and died on the Oneness of Allah.
9. Imam Shams Ul-Din Ibn aL-Jazri, the Imam of reciters, wrote a book and named it "The Scent of Notification on the Blessed Birthday".
10. Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Al-Jawzi said in the description of Milad: "Peace and Tranquility takes over during that year and a good glad tiding to obtain your wish and inspiration".
11. Imam Abu-Shamah, The Sheikh of Al Hafiz Al Nawawi, said:
"The best of the innovations of our times is what is carried out on the day of corresponding to the birthday of our Beloved Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him), where people give out donations, practice what is right, express their joy and happiness, in doing so is surely a sign of love and admiration for the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon him)".

We receive great many letters from our youth criticising Ahle Sunnah Scholars on some negligible issues. This is not a good practice. Followers of one Scholar criticizing the other Shaikhs on some side issues is not warranted.
This kind of practice has disintegrated real Ahle Sunnah into bits and pieces in the world and our youth is not in a position to know actually what is the right path of Islam.
Wahhabis and other sectarian groups take advantage of this situation and our youth become easy prey to their Da'wa campaign because they refer our criticism of our scholars as prove of their ill founded beliefs.
We should try to be broad minded on side issues and try to concentrate on the basic faith. Side issues can be discussed in a friendly dialogue which is healthy for a vibrant Islamic society.
As far as the basic faith is concerned, all our scholars are correct. They are propagating the same tenets of Islam which come under 'Sahih Iman'. Please visit the gist of "Sahih Iman" at the following location for details.
