Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri does not require any formal introduction.  He is well known all over the world for his explanation of Islamic Tawheed and Ilm-e-Sahih.   He has written a comprehensive Tafseer-e-Quran titled 'Tafseer-e-Asadi' in English and has translated and written guides of  7 major Books of Ahadith, Bukhari, Muslim, Muatta, Nasai, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Maajah in English.  He has written over 125 books on Islamic Subjects in English and has translated into English over 50 books.   In addition he has written hundreds of  articles on Islamic subjects. 
 
Shaikh's distinct way of explanation shows his knowledge to be practical, rather than theoretical. He explains most difficult and complicated issues with unique ease which keeps the readers spellbound; most of whom feel that their understanding capacity has enhanced and their hearts  illuminated with Sahih Iman.  His writings are widely accepted in the world as truly authentic, based on Quran and Sunnah, reading which millions of misguided people have come back to the right path of Islam.
 
People who know the Shaikh testify that he is the living phenomenon of a complete human being (انسانِ  کامل) whose proximity to Allah  (سبحانہ و تعا لی)  and Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) is certain.  
 
Shaikh does not like public glare and prefers to live in seclusion, away from all kinds of worldly issues. He is selfless and devoted to enlighten others.   Shaikh does not accept any gifts, money or material favor from anyone in the world, including his Murideen. 
 
BLESSED BIRTH  
Shaikh was born on 1st Jumada II,  1373 H, corresponding to February 5, 1954 in Hyderabad, India,  in Sadaat family (the direct descendants of Hazrat Ali - رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ and Sayyida Fatima az-Zahara - رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا). 
 
His father Hadhrat Mir Momin Ali Quadri (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was a famous Shaikh of his time who received Khilafah from two famous Shuyookh, Hadhrat Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui Quadri (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)  and Hadhrat Badruddin Khaled Wajudi Quadri   (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). When Shaikh was born, Hadhrat Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)  visited the house of his parents, made him Murid at birth and suggested the present name of the Shaikh.
   

EDUCATION, BA'YA AND KHILAFAH  

Shaikh Asedullah Quadri carried out his religious studies as well as English school studies simultaneously.  He studied Islamic subjects at a  famous Arabic Madrasa at Ahmednagar, Hyderabad.  Right from his childhood he studied Islamic literature, particularly the exegesis of Quran, Ahadith and books of important Islamic personalities.

In childhood Shaikh took ba'ya on the hands of  Hadhrat Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ).  He had the honor of learning Islam under the able guidance of  Hadhrat Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ).  Later Shaikh rendered into English most of the works of Hadhrat Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)

Shaikh was 18 years old, when his father died in 1972.  In 1973, he took ba'ya on the hands of the most famous Shaikh of his time, Hadrath Badruddin Khaled Wajudi Quadri (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) and had the opportunity to learn Islam, particularly Islamic theology under his able guidance.  Hadhrat Khaled Wajudi ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) gave Khilafah to the Shaikh in 1985.   

After the death of Hadhrat Khaled  ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) in 1988,  Shaikh had the opportunity to learn Islam under the able guidance of  Hadhrat Hussain Shujauddin Siddiqui (Izzat) (1909-1998) ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ ), the son and successor of Hadhrat Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). Shaikh spent several hours every day in the company of Hadhrat Shujauddin Siddiqui Quadri ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) for over 9 years. He received Khilafah from Hadhrat Shujauddin Siddiqui ( رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) in 1996. 

In 1976 Shaikh did Hajj for the first time.  In 1978 He did Hajj for the second time.  He visited the holy cities of Makka and Madina  for Umra and Ziyara innumerable times and stayed in Madina Al-Munawwara for weeks at a stretch. Shaikh has 2 sons and 3 daughters.

 
TEACHERS AND SHUYOOKH 

Shaikh  spent over 40 years in the company of famous Shuyookh of Ihsan learning Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and Islamic Theology.  He had the opportunity to serve them and learn in their company the true meanings of Iman, Islam and Ihsan. 

Shaikh received Khilafah in Chishti and Quadri lineage from Hadhrat Badruddin Khaled Wajoodi (رحمة الله عليه) in 1985.  He also received Khilafa and Ijaza in Quadri, Naqshbandi and Shadhili Salasil in 1996 from Hadhrat Hussain Shujauddin Siddiqui (رحمة الله عليه) who had Khilafa and Ijaza in these Salasil from his father Hadhrat Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui (رحمة الله عليه).
 
Shaikh once said 'Ghousul Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (رضئ الله تعالى عنه), Gharib Nawaz Khwaja Moinuddin Chishtee (رضئ الله تعالى عنه), Shaikh Abul Hasan Shadhili (رضئ الله تعالى عنه) and Khwaja Bahauddin Naqshband (رضئ الله تعالى عنه) are my Grand Shuyookh from whom I received countless bounties.  Their guidance and assistance has been vital for me during my journey on the intrinsic path of Ihsan. It is because of them I was rewarded with Prophet's (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) audience.   Their unwavering support to our Sahih Iman campaign  in the world is like a solid rock that cannot be assailed by anyone in the world. 
 
Shaikh informed his close Murideen that his Shuyookh Hadhrat Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui, Hadhrat Badruddin Khaled Wajudi, Hadhrat Hussain Shujauddin Siddiqui (رحمة الله عليهم اجمعین) were Aghwaath of their times and his father Hadhrat Mir Momin Ali Quadri (رحمة الله عليه) was Abdaal of his time.  

 

GENERAL EDUCATION AND ASSIGNMENTS 

Shaikh completed Higher Secondary School in 1968, Pre-University Degree in 1971 and Bachelors degree in Business  in 1975 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. His post graduate (MS) studies consisted of (i) International  Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing, London in 1983, and (ii) General and Financial Administration from the Institute of Corporate Secretaries and Administrators, UK in 1985. He was member of many professional bodies for several years.  He worked as General Manager, CEO and in other capacities in India, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
